About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Reporting & Insights Analyst to lead and manage the transition of BAU reporting and data operations to a dedicated Data Operations team. You’ll operate in a hybrid onshore/offshore model, guiding offshore analysts, resolving issues, and engaging stakeholders across data and non-data teams. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology and the chance to make a significant impact on enterprise reporting and analytics functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor offshore resources, ensuring effective delivery of BAU processes and reporting.
- Resolve issues, triage enhancements, and provide solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Oversee the transition of reporting and data operations to the Data Ops team, including shadowing and process merge activities.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, representing 40% of the role, across data and non-data teams.
- Handle ad-hoc data requests, reporting enhancements, minor new build requests, and recurring BAU activities.
- Troubleshoot environmental issues and communicate with Microsoft, cloud architects, and internal teams.
- Ensure effective use of Power Platform Administration for environmental management.
- Support version control (GIT) and request flow (ServiceNow) for data and reporting activities.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration across teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Power Platform Administration expertise.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake as a primary data warehouse.
- Familiarity with GIT for version control and ServiceNow for request management.
- Experience in life insurance domain is highly regarded.
- Life insurance knowledge preferred.
- Strong communication skills essential for ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with 2–3 days per week in the office.
- Long-term 12-Month contract with the potential for extension.
