About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in automation, programming, and quality engineering. This role involves hands-on development using Java, Python, and TypeScript to build robust automation frameworks and software solutions.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API, Kafka, MQ, and file-based protocols, along with proficiency in UNIX commands and system integration testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on programming experience 8+ years in Java/Python/Typescript, building automation frameworks.
- Hands on experience in handling API, Kafka, MQ, TCP/IP and File Based protocols. Should be able to work with UNIX commands.
- Software Development and Deployment: Experience in designing, developing and deploying high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.
- Programming/Software Development: Experience in designing and building programs or application features. Automation frameworks, Automated Tests meeting business objectives and requirements.
- Quality Engineering: Good experience in system integration testing, experience in UI / Backend (API /KAFKA / MQ) automation with frameworks like Selenium / Playwright / DevTest.
- Experience with RDBMS (Oracle) and using SQL or other data integration/ETL tools.
- Experience with source control systems (GitHub) and any of the CI/CD tool like TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.,
- Experience with effort estimations.
Required Experience:
- Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding and application of software delivery lifecycle principles, including design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
- Software Data Analysis: Proficiency with analysing business objectives and translating requirements to technical implementation components.
- Implement Best Practice: Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
- Engineering and Strategy: Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform.
