About the Opportunity
A leading global technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator SME to support a major client engagement in Canberra.
This is a hands-on staff augmentation opportunity for a suitably qualified professional with strong Red Hat system administration and automation capabilities. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the end client and contribute specialist technical expertise throughout the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver system administration services as a subject-matter expert.
- Support the client’s operational and project requirements.
- Work directly under the direction of the client.
- Apply Red Hat administration and automation expertise within the client environment.
- Contribute technical knowledge across infrastructure automation, configuration, and scripting activities.
Candidates must have:
- Strong system administration experience.
- Red Hat certification and relevant technical capability.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Ansible
- Ansible Automation Platform, or AAP
- Terraform
- Python
- A current NV1 security clearance is essential.
- An approximately 12-month contract engagement.
- A Canberra-based opportunity.
- The chance to provide specialist systems administration expertise within a significant client environment.
- An immediate requirement, subject to client contract signature.
