About the Role
As a Senior Test Analyst, working with one of their Big 4 banking clients, you will play a key role across programs and projects delivering change into Treasury Technology platforms (TPALM, Liquidity, IRRBB/QRM, FTP, BSM).
You will be responsible for functional, integration, data, non‑functional and user acceptance testing, ensuring quality outcomes for business‑critical Treasury processes including daily batch cycles, modelling pipelines and regulatory reporting.
You will work closely with Senior Business Analysts, Treasury SMEs and Engineering teams to:
- Analyse user stories, rule definitions and data transformation logic for completeness and feasibility
- Validate business acceptance criteria and ensure evidence meets Treasury governance standards
- Perform risk/impact assessments across complex Treasury data flows
- Build, execute and optimise comprehensive test scenarios and scripts for Treasury change
- Produce and review testing evidence aligned to audit, regulatory and operational requirements
- Provide transparent progress reporting to ensure delivery timelines are met
Experience
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years in software testing
- Strong experience across functional, integration, regression, data validation and non‑functional testing
- Hands‑on experience in ETL/data/batch testing (SQL, file movement, rule engines, data pipelines)
- Strong exposure to Treasury/Capital Markets domains, ideally including Liquidity (LCR/NSFR), IRRBB, FTP or BSM
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies and structured testing practices
- Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Strong experience with test management & defect tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, etc.)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, Groovy, SQL, Unix shell) for automation or data preparation
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Robot, TestComplete, Katalon, SOA Test, etc.)
- Understanding of financial data flows, modelling systems (QRM) and overnight batch cycles is highly desirable
