About the role:
Our clients Data Platforms Consumer Finance and Cash & Transactional Banking team is urgently seeking a highly skilled Service Owner to lead the Data Platforms Program Delivery.
This role involves managing the delivery of complex program and bridges key stakeholders and our Data Platforms' technical teams. It focuses on relationship building, driving change through technology and data solutions, resilience, and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should possess the following technical skills:
- Experienced professional who is intrigued by what data is and passionate about the value it can bring.
- Solid practical skills and experience in data platform delivery on Azure, AWS, and/or GCP technologies.
- Solid understanding of data governance and program governance in a large corporate setting.
- You are a go-getter who likes to make things happen.
- An open mindset to feedback and new ideas with an ability to think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous work environment.
- Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities.
- Ability to manage multiple scrum teams, programs and initiatives in parallel.
- Ability to logically work using a structured approach to prioritise initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- You take a collaborative approach to work and have excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Solid experience in an Agile environment, leading distributed teams and working with people covering a diverse range of styles, personalities, skills, and experiences.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Exposure (or a genuine interest) in data technologies.
- Familiarity and keen interest in the latest developments in the world of data and AI.
Required Experience:
- Educate business stakeholders to understand strategy and objectives to build and align on a product roadmap that transforms the strategy into an actionable and outcomes-based plan.
- Responsible for end-to-end delivery defined by a clear roadmap and track and report on success metrics.
- Work within the scrum team to apply product vision and a sense of purpose and continuously deploy incremental customer value.
- Assist in the translation of business requirements into value-driven features and stories.
- Track key organisational and business outcomes / value, and health metrics.
- Action release and sprint goals, prioritising the product backlog while focusing on delivering the maximum value aligned with product strategy.
- Work closely with the Scrum Master to optimise team outputs and coach and mentor other members of the broader team
