Join a major Queensland Government program delivering technology improvements that support the next phase of a national bio-security program.
You will assess the program’s current technology environment, identify architectural risks and opportunities, and define a practical target-state architecture and roadmap. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence technology, data, integration, reporting and governance decisions across a complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess current applications, integrations, data and supporting technology platforms
• Identify architectural gaps, weaknesses, risks, technical debt and delivery constraints
• Develop a target-state architecture and strategic roadmap covering the next three to five years
• Prioritise improvement opportunities based on business impact, risk, effort and strategic value
• Recommend enhancements across technology, data management, reporting, integration and governance
• Produce a final assessment and prioritised action plan with clear implementation pathways
Key Skills:
• Strong experience delivering current-state and target-state enterprise or solution architecture
• Proven capability across application, data, integration and technology architecture
• Ability to translate complex business and operational needs into actionable technology roadmaps
• Experience identifying architectural risk, technical debt and capability gaps
• Strong knowledge of architecture principles, standards and governance practices
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking and executive-level documentation skills
