A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major technology consulting organisation delivering a large-scale digital transformation program for a government sector client. This role will play a key part in modernising a critical enterprise claims management platform and driving strategic technology outcomes.

About the End Client
The end client is a large government organisation undertaking a significant transformation of its claims management platform. The program is focused on modernising operations, improving outcomes for stakeholders, reducing enterprise risk, and enhancing long-term operational effectiveness.
The Role
As the Solution Architect, you will provide strategic architecture leadership and technical expertise to design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to shape solution designs, guide architecture decisions, and ensure governance, security, sustainability, and compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design solutions for complex business environments aligned with organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical leadership across project teams and support architecture decision-making.
- Ensure architecture standards, methods, and tools align with enterprise frameworks.
- Drive solution optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with technology teams, project managers, and subject matter experts.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions across:
- Salesforce CRM
- MuleSoft
- IBM WebSphere application and integration platforms
- AWS Cloud technologies
- Experience supporting and improving large, complex application portfolios within multi-vendor environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
- Experience delivering solutions across application, integration, information, security, and technology domains.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience within insurance and claims-based environments is highly desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Enterprise Architecture certification such as TOGAF, or equivalent, highly regarded.
