About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join a high-performing technical team supporting the delivery and operation of complex enterprise environments.
Working alongside engineers, architects, project teams, and customers, you will be responsible for ensuring critical systems remain secure, reliable, and optimised throughout their lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful and technically challenging projects, supporting environments that demand high levels of performance, security, and availability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design, integration, deployment, and ongoing operation of complex technology environments.
- Administering and maintaining enterprise infrastructure and virtualised platforms.
- Managing VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi and vCenter.
- Supporting Windows and Linux server environments.
- Developing and maintaining automation and infrastructure solutions using scripting and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure, system, and integration issues.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Ensuring environments meet security, compliance, performance, and availability requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will be a technically capable professional who enjoys working in complex environments and solving challenging technical problems.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in Systems Administration within enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Strong VMware vSphere administration experience, including ESXi and vCenter.
- Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Exposure to automation and scripting technologies such as Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Strong understanding of virtualised environments, systems administration principles, and infrastructure best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Security Requirements: Candidates must hold an active or reactivatable Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Security Clearance on submission. Our client is not looking to upgrade an existing clearance for this position. An OSA(Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.
