About the role:
You are a Technical Business Analyst specialising in case management solutions, translating complex needs into clear requirements and meaningful process improvements. You will work confidently with vendors and non‑technical teams handling sensitive cases, enabling secure, user‑centred change when introducing new systems. You should be highly independent and delivery‑focused, capable of driving analysis, requirements, and solution progression in projects without a dedicated technical project manager.

 
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Capture, analyse and translate business requirements into functional, technical and system specification for project team members.
  • Manage business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specification documentation.
  • Create Traceability matrixes as part of Solution Design alignment against business requirements.
  • Facilitate and prepare business analysis/process stream workshops.
  • Develop effective working relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and external parties such as vendors where required.
  • Analyse, review and or create complex business processes and customer journey mapping (i.e. current and future state process mapping).
  • Motivated self-starter who can work collaboratively or independently.
  • Experience in technical writing/operating manual documentations
  • Perform QA activities to ensure features are delivered as per acceptance criteria.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations related to business analysis/process stream scope to influence project outcomes.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into easily understandable terms.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent communication skills; written & verbal, formal documentation, presentation, diagramming and modelling, facilitation, and elicitation.
  • Exposure to and or experience in the education industry desirable
  • Be able to work with staff, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage clear and open communication across teams and stakeholders.

What's on offer?
Located in Brisbane with a Hybrid working arrangement.

Role to commence January 2026 – Contract initially until end June 2026.
