The end client is a large enterprise operating complex Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms that support critical business processes. This role is focused on managed application support, platform optimisation, and operational excellence, with ongoing enhancements driven by real business demand rather than pure transformation.
About the Role
The Business Transformation Consultant (Technical Business Analyst) is responsible for providing services for large and multiple projects/programs with proficiency in SAFe Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience with Jira and Confluence for end-to-end backlog traceability, and in facilitating agile ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
- Create functional and technical specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams
- Work closely with architects and developers to design solutions that align with business goals
- Participate in code reviews, data modelling, and system architecture discussions where needed
- Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Assist project managers with planning, prioritization, and sprint reviews
- Analyse data using SQL or similar tools to identify trends or support decision-making
- Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, or programming languages (Java, FileNet/ICN/ICM)
- Experience with tools like UML, Visio, or Lucid chart for creating process models and diagrams
- Customer domain experience/knowledge in banking sector.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Tech BA or equivalent in IT Consulting or other technology business units across the industry.
- Significant IT Business Analyst experience with a combination of technical and functional business focus.
- Proficient in SQL to query and analyse data from various sources and modelling concepts like referential integrity, entity-relationship, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills. You thrive in constantly changing and dynamic work environments
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with client and a drive to exceed expectations. A flexible and adaptable attitude
- Experience in presenting to and influencing stakeholders and senior managers
