About the role:
An opportunity exists for a Test Consultant to support testing activities across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions within SAP S/4HANA. The consultant assists in test preparation, execution, and defect management while working closely with senior testers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to validate EAM and Plant Maintenance (PM) processes.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Be an Australian citizen with an active NV1 AGSVA clearance. Active Baseline will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and execution of test cycles across SAP S/4HANA EAM and Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Develop test cases, scripts, and supporting test documentation under guidance from senior team members.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance test scenarios.
- Assist with defect logging, tracking, and retesting activities.
- Validate EAM business processes such as maintenance planning, scheduling, work execution, notifications, and asset lifecycle management.
- Work with functional and technical teams to ensure requirements traceability in test scenarios.
- Support test data preparation and environment readiness activities.
- Contribute to quality reporting, test progress updates, and status documentation.
- Collaborate with business SMEs during testing cycles to ensure accurate validation of processes.
- Follow established testing frameworks, standards, and quality procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in software testing within SAP environments, preferably SAP EAM or SAP PM.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA maintenance and asset management processes.
- Ability to develop and execute test cases for functional and integration testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (such as HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams.
- Experience supporting testing in large‑scale ICT or transformation programs (preferred).
- Exposure to SAP HANA SCM PM environments (advantageous).
