About the Opportunity
The UI Developer will be responsible for driving end to end delivery of the program, attend requirement discussions with business stakeholders to finalise the FSD’s/Interface documents etc.
- Work with Tech Lead/Business stakeholders for requirement gathering/reviews and signoff’s
- Liaise with the offshore team and SME’s during the project delivery phase
- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
- Support and collaborate with other internal/external consultants in consulting, workshops and delivery engagements
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in Leading, guiding and coaching a small team
- Expertise in design and development of UI applications.
- 9+ years of experience in UI design and development
- Expertise in ReactJS. Redux experience with JavaScript unit testing frameworks.
- Experience on creating Node JS API for front-end integration.
- Experience on creating API definition using Swagger. Experience on Node modules such as file systems, normalizer, etc. Strong foundation in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and experience with a modern client-side single page app framework in React JS. Good working knowledge of GIT version control and JavaScript package managers.
- Translates graphic visual and interactive designs into the presentation layer for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design and development techniques.
- Develops prototypes and performs hands-on coding to develop and integrate the application user interface
- Full lifecycle application design and development using Javascript – React.js – Node.js – Python
- Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues related to code quality, security, and/or pattern/frameworks.
- Mentoring, guiding, and developing a team of developers with a focus on quality and best practice coding
- A Sydney-based contract opportunity within a complex financial services environment.
- A hands-on role combining UI architecture, development, technical leadership, and mentoring.
- The opportunity to deliver modern digital interfaces using ReactJS, Node.js, JavaScript, and Python.
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical specialists, consultants, and distributed delivery teams.
