Urban Vector Data Quality Assurance Officer

About the Company

Our client’s primary role is to defend Australia and its national interests, promote security and stability, and support the Australian community as directed by the Government.

About the role

To maintain data currency over our near region, the Department requires vector topographical data produced in accordance with Urban Topographic Data Store (UTRD) 1.2 specification over identified areas

Role Responsibilities
  • Quality assurance on internally produced 1:5,000 Scale topographic vector data.
  • Provide authoritative feedback to the Department on the quality of provided urban datasets.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant experience with MILSPEC data
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in feature extraction and quality assurance practices.

Security Requirements:

As this opportunity is with the Australian Federal Government you must be an Australian Citizen. The successful candidate will need to undergo a National Police check.
