Job Description
An information and communications technology (ICT) security office within a large government organisation requires specialised services to strengthen and sustain its cyber security capabilities. This need arises from the necessity to mitigate organisation-specific cyber security risks and maintain resilience across critical systems. The services are expected to deliver a minimum viable capability in key areas, including ICT security incident response, vulnerability and patch management, and strategic policy advice. The overall objective is to provide subject matter expertise across several core functions, specifically in incident management, vulnerability and patch management, and cyber security advisory roles, ensuring effective protection and continuous improvement of the organisation’s cyber security posture.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Minimum five years' experience in ICT security management
- Experience in vulnerability and patch management
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF and DSPF
- Experience in ICT security policy development
- Ability to work with stakeholders and produce compliance reports
- CISSP or similar certification
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI
