About the Role:
Our Federal Client is looking to engage a highly skilled Windows VDI System Administrator to support a range of activities contributing to the design, build, test and operation of ICT systems and network services to support the delivery of modern mobility solutions for senior government officials. Project activities under the project include expanding the existing network, computing systems, desktop delivery solutions, complex gateway services, cloud services, and secure mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

- Administer management and support of security software, system integration and configuration.
- Administer Secured End User Computing (EUC) Environment (Active Directory Management, Group Policy) procedures and standards.
- Design, test, deploy and automate Windows operating system builds.
- Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimisation, and scalability of Virtual environments.
- Develop and operate a windows server platform including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services, WSUS, etc.
- Build, test and maintain system images and provide integration for VDI Platforms.
- Implement VDI performance monitoring and tool tuning for a dynamic network environment.
- Support and Monitor Virtual Windows Desktop environment. (Citrix CVAD/NetScaler)
• Demonstrated experience or qualifications in Microsoft Server and Desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM, SCCM, AD) • Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell scripting. • Proficient in Building, deploying and managing virtual desktop SOEs. • Proficient in Advanced Windows troubleshooting. • Desirable - Proficient in Microsoft Configuration manager for application packaging and deployment. • Desirable - Experience in Integrating MFA solutions
