If you’ve ever had to chase payroll after submitting your timesheet, you know how frustrating it can be. Whizdom’s Same Day Pay service is designed to remove that stress. It’s a simple process that gets your payment sorted the same day your timesheet is approved and submitted.

What Is Whizdom's Same day pay service?

Same Day Pay is a contractor payment service that allows eligible Whizdom contractors to be paid on the same day they submit their approved timesheet; provided it’s submitted before 4:30 PM (AEST) on the final day of their allocated pay cycle.

Each contractor is assigned a payment cycle based on what works best for the client’s invoicing and approval process. These cycles can be:

• Fortnightly
• Monthly

Same Day Pay does not mean daily payments. Instead, it ensures that once your timesheet is approved and submitted before the deadline on your scheduled pay day, your payment will be processed that same day.

how it works?

Let’s say your payment cycle is fortnightly. If you submit your approved timesheet before 4:30 PM on the last day of the fortnight, you’ll be paid that day.

If your cycle is monthly, and you submit your approved timesheet for May on the 30th before the deadline, you’ll be paid on the 30th.

This system gives you certainty without disrupting the client’s approval process.

What You Need to Do

To benefit from Same Day Pay:

1. Know your payment cycle
   Your Whizdom consultant or payroll contact can confirm whether you’re on a fortnightly or monthly cycle.
2. Submit your approved timesheet before 4:30 PM AEST
   This is the daily cut-off for Same Day Pay processing.
3. If you miss the cut-off, you'll get paid next Business Day. 
   If you accidentally submit your approved timesheet after 4:30 PM on your scheduled pay day, your payment will be processed the next business day. You won’t have to wait until the next fortnight or month, you’ll still be paid promptly, just one business day later.
