Whizdom Role

James joined Whizdom in January 2014 in the role of Business and Client Manager. James is the General Manager of Whizdom and undertakes Business Development and Client Management activities with a focus on major accounts, including Federal Government Departments with large contractor workforces along with a number of leading Tier 1 Solutions providers. He also manages Whizdom’s Partner channel and our engagements with other small to medium enterprises. James ensures Whizdom is positioned to offer the best resourcing solutions for our clients and a wide array of opportunities for our candidates. James is a certified APSCo Australia Recruitment Professional.


Prior to Whizdom, James has worked across a number of Industries including Enterprise Software, Digital Marketing, and Recruitment Services, holding positions from Business Development to General Management. This experience has given James a good insight into the challenges facing small, medium and large organisations when it comes to sourcing the right people for integral positions.

Why Whizdom

On meeting with the Whizdom team, James quickly realised that they were unlike any other recruitment company that he had worked with. He’d finally found an organisation that puts people before profits. James could see that the Whizdom staff were genuinely focussed on the best outcome for the client and the candidate as oppose to hitting a target and making a commission – two things that don’t exist at Whizdom.

When James is not meeting with clients, you can find him battling his way around one of Canberra’s golf courses or attempting to defy age in the gym!
