The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong technical, analytical and stakeholder management skills to join our project team as Business Analyst and Engagement Lead.
You will establish relationships with colleagues across the Department to understand the existing relationships, records and applications across the networks and how they will migrate to, and operate in, the new tenancy known as One Network.
Skills and Experience Required:
Location and Contract Term: This is a Canberra based role. Contract till 31 March 2023 with options to extend till June 2024 pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens to apply. A baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong technical, analytical and stakeholder management skills to join our project team as Business Analyst and Engagement Lead.
You will establish relationships with colleagues across the Department to understand the existing relationships, records and applications across the networks and how they will migrate to, and operate in, the new tenancy known as One Network.
- Engage directly and partner with the business stakeholders and process owners on a daily basis.
- Determine migration schedules for staff, records, software and applications.
- Assist the project to analyse and map current processes and notifications to enable software and applications to be migrated without loss of functionality.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements and dependencies are accurately mapped and agreed.
- Assist in UAT processes including the development of testing criteria.
- Ensure documentation is kept up to date.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience of business engagement, requirements gathering and documenting, process mapping and formal testing.
- A thorough understanding and working knowledge with M365 and Share Point, preferable Share Point Online.
- Demonstrated experience working within a project team.
- Proven experience in contributing to project deliverables, timeframes and scope.
- Demonstrated IT experience including specific experience in business systems analysis.
- Strong process documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes/results.
