Overview:
In the role of Communications Support Officer, you will provide professional, efficient, and effective communications support that assists the Stakeholder Management Team to achieve its outcomes and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to the Principal Communications Advisor.
- Develop and maintain office support systems including the use of databases and spreadsheets.
- Monitor, manage and triage executive correspondence and urgent requests for action from senior management.
- Coordinate, research and prepare information for the team including reports, statistical data and internal briefing materials as required.
- Monitor, record and report on media and public responses to regional and project issues.
- Develop and maintain working relationships and networks with the CSM team.
- Coordinate, develop, prepare, edit and publish project information materials and reports as directed
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication and community engagement plans and strategies
- Monitor, record and report on media and public responses to issues
- Prepare draft correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
- Contract to December 2025 – with possible extension.
- Up to $50 per hour (inc super)
- 36.25 hours per week
