About our client:
Our client is a leading provider of a full spectrum of professional services including consulting, technical, scientific and project delivery for the government and private sector.
Our client has been providing professional services to the Australian Department of Defence since 1997. Their services include strategic advisory services, capability development, program and project management, acquisition and sustainment support, commercial management, and training development.
Qualifications
These roles will support the F-35 program at RAAF Base Williamtown and work as part of a team to perform and achieve moderately complex tasks within an integrated workforce.
Liasing with stakeholders of all levels and across the organisation, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for enquiries related to their area of effect.

- Bachelor’s degree-Systems Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree-Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree-Aerospace Engineering

- Execution of the certification program
- Customer requirements for ACSPO Type Certification met
- Delivery of documents including:
- Configuration Control
- Role and environmental analysis
- Military certification review items
- non-compliance risk assessments
- Execution of the Systems Safety Program
- Conduct the Systems Safety Working Group
- Verification and Validation activities
- Delivery and ongoing management of the T&E Management Plan
- Management of reliability and maintainability data
- Managment of the Propulsion Structural Integrity Program
- Management of the Enviornmental Condition Program
The successful candidate:
- Provision of specialist Engineering Services in support of Requirements, Design, Integration, Systems Engineering, Risk management, specialist review of airworthiness compliance demonstration evidence, issue paper development, maintain hierarchical plans, research and specialist advice.
- Provision of specialist Engineering subject matter expertise including:
- Engineering planning and management.
- Coordination and conduct of internal review activities.
- Coordination of external stakeholder engagement and review activities.
- Review and assessment of JPO airworthiness deliverables.
- Risk, issue and opportunity identification and management.
- Engagement with stakeholders for specialist tasking to support ACSPO engineering objectives.
- Provision of SME guidance / mentoring to ACSPO team members.
- Understanding the operating environment, including the intended use of the capability from an engineering perspective.
- Identifying other stakeholders and their needs or constraints from an engineering perspective.
- Establishing the function and performance requirements providing advice on the feasibility and requirement trade-offs to the CM on behalf of the Project Director.
- Support the management of Military Type Certification, Type Design, configuration management, and requirements changes to coordinate technical activities, support and advice on engineering organisation design.
- Support and/or represent the project on engineering matters and interface (IPT) workgroups to support requirements analysis and systems development.
- Participate in technical reviews.
- Support the co-ordination with other FIC element providers (i.e. access to equipment and facilities).
- Support the management of the system safety program.
