About the role:
The Agile Coach role promotes lean and Agile ways of working to Product Managers and their teams to support the delivery of projects and product initiatives from concept through to strategy, implementation and continuous improvement to ensure the development and management of products which deliver meaningful customer value and objectives. This role guides the team on how to leverage Agile/Scrum best practices and values to meet stakeholder expectations as well as handles cross functional communication

This contract is available until June 2026.
Located in Parramatta & Sydney Olympic Park, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.

The Successful Candidate:
Applicants must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident to apply
- Proven experience working as an Agile Coach with a minimum of 5 years’ continuous experience working in an Agile framework or method.
- Strong demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM and Kanban).
- Proven track record of leading Agile transformations in mid-to-large scale organisations.
- Demonstrated success in scaling Agile and coaching at the enterprise level.
- Ability to embed continuous improvement practices and culture across teams.
- Demonstrated superior communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a proven capacity to develop and maintain sound working relationships with end users, key stakeholders, suppliers, and project team members.
- Acting as the champion for Agile and SCRUM principles with practical practices.
- Lead and monitor agile teams, providing expert technical guidance to overcome complex challenges.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technology delivery.
- Drive a common understanding of agile values, principles, and practices.
- Facilitate and support the organizational culture change necessary for sustained agile success.
- Educate and coach staff to develop their knowledge and use of agile practices.
- Guide teams and executives through the Agile practices to create efficiency at all levels.
- Coaching the Product Owner and team to define an outcome-oriented product roadmap, gather stakeholder insights and feedback, define and write user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics, ensure customer centric product design, development delivery.
- Lead and coach product teams to deliver product roadmaps and continuous improvement in product and system enhancements, efficiency improvements, and legislative change enhancements.
- Work closely in alignment with Product Managers to guide cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end product lifecycle, including executing product vision and strategy, validating product features and design, and collecting inputs to inform product decisions and direction.
- Design, lead and support communications and engagement activities that build organizational understanding of user-centered delivery approaches.
- Working in a cross-functional team that includes content designers, developers, user-experience designers and testers to make customer journeys the best they can be.
- Identify ways to improve throughput, flow and decision-making.
