About the role:
We are seeking a Perth-based Automation Developer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, orchestration, and workflow development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that support dynamic workload placement and self-service capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.

About the role:
We are seeking a Perth-based Automation Developer with strong experience in infrastructure automation, orchestration, and workflow development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that support dynamic workload placement and self-service capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop infrastructure service designs that support dynamic and cost-optimised workload placement in on-premises and public cloud environments.
- Design and implement automation and self-service capabilities for infrastructure and cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows.
- Create and manage workflows that coordinate tasks and data across multiple systems and applications.
- Develop and maintain scripts and code to automate tasks, interact with APIs, and integrate systems.
- Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal disruption to business processes.
- Document automated workflows, processes, and configurations clearly and concisely.
- Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote adoption of automation solutions.
- Implement standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.
Technical Skills:
- Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
- CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance (e.g. Bamboo).
- Linux or Windows administration (both preferred).
- Understanding of networking infrastructure (e.g. load balancing, firewalls).
- Scripting/programming experience (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python, Golang).
- Experience deploying and maintaining multi-layered applications.
- Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Experience with business process automation tools (e.g. Nintex).
- Ability to maintain high-quality, fit-for-purpose platforms aligned with specifications.
- Experience with VMware technologies (Aria Automation, vSphere, NSX).
- Familiarity with deployment processes for POA environments.
- Strong understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery techniques.
- Experience working with SCADA systems and Operational Technology.
