About the role:
We are seeking a Citrix Infrastructure Resilience Consultant to design, implement, and validate resilient Citrix solutions. The successful candidate will work across Citrix DaaS, App Layering, NetScaler VPX, and F5 GSLB to ensure business-critical applications are delivered with optimal performance and fault tolerance. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Citrix architecture and hybrid endpoint management.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a 6-month contract based in Sydney, commencing 1st September 2025. You’ll play a key role in strengthening infrastructure resilience and delivering secure, high-performance Citrix environments.

We are seeking a Citrix Infrastructure Resilience Consultant to design, implement, and validate resilient Citrix solutions. The successful candidate will work across Citrix DaaS, App Layering, NetScaler VPX, and F5 GSLB to ensure business-critical applications are delivered with optimal performance and fault tolerance. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise in Citrix architecture and hybrid endpoint management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement resilient Citrix solutions with high availability, disaster recovery, and load balancing.
- Validate and simulate failover scenarios across Citrix DaaS (fixed VDIs, random multisession VDAs).
- Streamline image management using Citrix App Layering (OS, Platform, App layers).
- Configure and optimise Citrix NetScaler VPX and F5 GSLB for traffic distribution and redundancy.
- Ensure resilient application workloads for business-critical and standard applications.
- Manage endpoint compliance using Ivanti Application Control and Microsoft Intune.
- Review and enhance profile management (UPM/FSLogix) and storage performance.
- Document build procedures, configurations, and failover playbooks.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix DaaS on Azure and CVAD 2203 LTSR on VMware vSphere.
- Strong understanding of fixed VDI and random/multisession VDA architectures.
- Expertise in Citrix App Layering and NetScaler VPX (SSL, ICA proxy, rewrite/responder policies).
- Familiarity with F5 BIG-IP load balancing and GSLB integration with Citrix ADC.
- Proficiency in application publishing, user access control, and session reliability.
- Experience with Ivanti Application Control and Microsoft Intune.
- VMware hosting expertise including VM networking, storage, templates, and migrations.
- PowerShell scripting for Citrix and Windows automation.
- Knowledge of MS Intune policies, GPOs, and Citrix WEM.
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V) or Professional (CCP-V).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104).
- ITIL Foundation (for structured incident/change handling).
