Role Objective:
- The focus of this position is to deliver a wide array of services and guidance related to applicants, tenancy and property management to clients, advocates and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel and support to clients and their advocates regarding housing options, aligning with relevant laws and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal experts and external partners, making referrals as needed to better address client needs.
- Oversee tenancies and assist clients in maintaining successful tenancy agreements.
- Support initiatives promoting tenancy and community involvement to foster cohesive neighbourhoods and stronger communities.
- Safeguard client information for confidentiality, accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor property conditions and facilitate maintenance or minor alterations to meet client requirements.
Key Challenges:
- Engage extensively with clients facing complex support needs both in their residences and in the field.
- Effectively manage workloads to meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Navigate conflicts and manage expectations of clients and their advocates within the realm of human services.
- Address and manage instances of antisocial behaviour as they arise.
Location and Contract Term:
- Sydney Based (No Remote Workers)
- 2-month initial contract with Likely extension.
- NSW Driver’s Licence is Required
