Job Description

The Role:
The Department has a requirement for an Administration Officer to provide a range of coordination and administrative support.
The position is being offered at the equivalent of an Australian Public Service, Administration Officer Level 3 (APS3). 

Job Description:
Reporting to the EL1 Client Services Manager, the Client Services Administration Officer will undertake the following duties:
• Manage daily physical mail and assist with managing the group Inbox;
• Log property maintenance job in the JLL Portal;
• Set up new travel profiles in SAP;
• Assist with new starter on boarding activities;
• Administrator of Key watcher network;
• Keep an up to date list of Fire Wardens , First Aid Officers and Diversity Officers, and monitoring certificate and tenure expiry dates and assist in the annual WHS survey;
• Assist with managing Cab Charge and Stationery Orders and stock first aid kits;
• Keeper of templates and intranet information;
• Other duties as directed (including backfilling for staff on leave).

Skills and Experience Required:
• Experienced in utilising and manipulating MS Excel Spreadsheets;
• Strong written communication skills, and an ability to liaise with a wide range of audiences;
• Ability to work in an ever changing work environment;
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying process improvements and implementing change;
• Experience with SAP financial and travel system; and
• Desirable 2 years Customer Service experience in APS Corporate customer service role.

Contract Term - Approx start date of 1 June 2019 with contract till 30 December 2019 with 2 x 6 month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval
