About the role:
We are seeking a Filenet Solution Designer with over 8 years of experience in IBM Filenet development and solution architecture. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade content management solutions, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project and domain architectures.

This is a 6-month contract starting 9th July 2025, based in Sydney. You’ll work on a high-impact enterprise content management project, contributing to architectural alignment and solution delivery.

About the role:
We are seeking a Filenet Solution Designer with over 8 years of experience in IBM Filenet development and solution architecture. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade content management solutions, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project and domain architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-level technical solutions that are reliable, stable, and operationally sound.
- Establish and maintain standards and processes for developing quality, maintainable applications.
- Ensure solution designs align with domain and project architectures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify requirements and develop solutions.
- Present solution designs through governance forums to obtain necessary endorsements.
- Investigate and recommend improvement opportunities within domain areas.
- Provide cost estimates and assess risks to support business decision-making.
Technical Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in IBM Filenet development and solution design.
- Experience with CI/CD toolsets such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Understanding of WebSphere and DB2 environments.
- Familiarity with Filenet on containers is an advantage.
- Prior experience with IBM Case Manager, BPM, or BAW is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of API integration (REST, GraphQL) in large enterprise contexts.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Java.
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Leadership experience guiding teams to achieve project goals.
