The Systems Integrator will be accountable under general direction to create and maintain systems for testing and operational use for client’s Data Innovation and Analytics Directorate, with a focus on supporting machine learning & analytics, and computer visualisation.
The role requires creating and operating a continuous integration (CI) capability and employing version control of source code and related artefacts. The Systems Integrator should have experience with Git/Version Control System, Kubernetes, Python and CI/CD systems.
It is expected that the Systems Integrator will be work directly with technical and business stakeholders in/for the Data Innovation and Analytics Directorate to advance client’s Machine Analytics capabilities.
Major Responsibilities:
Contract terms: 12 months (1 July 2022 – 30 June 2023)
Extension options: 3 x 12-month periods at the discretion of the Commonwealth.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

- Work with project managers, product owners, business analysts and senior customers on the design of integrated ICT solutions that support organisational outcomes within the constraints of a technology roadmap.
- Plans and drive activities to develop organisational systems integration and build capabilities including automation and continuous integration.
- Identifies, evaluates and manages the adoption of tools, techniques and processes to create a robust integration framework.
- Provide authoritative advice and guidance on any aspect of systems integration.
- Escalate issues and seek advice from the customer, Project manager Engineering Manager in a timely manner.
- Lead integration work in line with the agreed system and service design, assessing risks and taking preventative action.
