Role Overview: Join our agile scrum teams to design and develop cross-platform apps using Xamarin/.NET. You’ll collaborate on innovative solutions and software programs, ensuring high performance and quality.
Skills and Experience:
- Design and develop iOS/Android apps using Xamarin/.NET MAUI
- Work with UI/UX designers for user-friendly designs
- Drive continuous improvement in software delivery
- Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Resolve app bottlenecks and bugs
- Integrate apps with back-end services via RESTful APIs
- Test, debug, update, and improve software
- Provide technical advice and problem-solving
- Stay updated on mobile development trends
- Guide junior staff and review their work
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years in mobile app development, 2+ years with Xamarin.Forms/Xamarin.Native
- Strong C# and .NET framework knowledge
- Proficiency in building cross-platform apps for iOS and Android
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Understanding of mobile development life cycle, SQLite, and MVVM pattern
Desired Attributes:
- Australian Baseline Security Clearance
- Government agency experience
- Experience with cloud message APIs, push notifications, CI/CD, Git, and agile methodologies
- UI/UX design sensibility
Location and Contract Term:
- Brisbane, 12-month contract with likely extensions
Security Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen
