About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join a high performing team working on secure, large scale infrastructure projects. Based in Canberra, the role involves designing, implementing and supporting enterprise grade networks using Cisco technologies, including Nexus and Catalyst platforms, SD-WAN, wireless (Cat9800) and Cisco ISE.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Routing protocol design and support (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, multicast)
- Working across multi-VRF environments, DMVPN, and MPLS
- Supporting secure access and software-defined networking via Catalyst Center/SDA
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining high standards of documentation and change control
The Successful Candidate
You’ll bring:
- NV1 clearance (minimum); NV2 preferred
- Proven experience in Cisco enterprise networking, including routing, switching and wireless
- Hands on knowledge of Cisco ISE, SD-WAN and Catalyst Center/SDA
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security and infrastructure design
