The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with expertise in Agile frameworks and a proven track record of delivering technology solutions in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the development of technology solutions using Agile methodologies, ensuring the project progresses through iterative cycles of development, testing, and feedback.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, set priorities, and ensure the solution meets business needs.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to keep the team aligned and the project on track.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the project team and the client, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and any necessary adjustments.
- Monitor project performance, track milestones, and ensure that deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging feedback and adapting processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Manage project documentation and ensure that all aspects of the project are well-documented and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer, with a focus on Agile project management in technology-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, with hands-on experience leading Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration in a fast-paced setting.
- Technical expertise in solution development, with the ability to understand and guide technical discussions.
- Experience in managing projects within the mining or similar industries is a plus.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Candidates must have full working rights for Australia.
