Our Federal government client is seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee a cross-functional team responsible for executing a sourcing activity. This involves coordinating personnel from technical, commercial/legal, business, and external contracted and service provider teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT. Initial contract for 7 months and high chance to be extended with two, 12-month extension options.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants must be able to obtain a BASELINE and successful candidates will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

Our Federal government client is seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee a cross-functional team responsible for executing a sourcing activity. This involves coordinating personnel from technical, commercial/legal, business, and external contracted and service provider teams to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
About the role:
- Manage complex ICT projects and business processes within a program of work in accordance with agreed baseline scope and to the Department’s ICT project management framework and methodologies
- Develop and control project schedules and planning activities to ensure phases are completed in accordance to established project milestones and meet business requirements.
- Managing project activities across highly complex ICT projects using established project management methodologies;
- Provide strategic planning, mapping and modelling development
About you:
- Minimum 5 years’ demonstrated experience in delivering highly complex project management. Preferably within commercial outsourcing/managed service technology domain. End user, workplace services and/or service management domain is considered an advantage.
- Experience managing clients, driving business requirements gathering, managing scope and client expectations.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders with strong written and verbal communications skills and possess a thirst for knowledge whilst seeking out innovative solutions.
