Our Large Federal Government client requires a Project Scheduler who will be responsible for developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule covering a number of information technology projects and non-technical activities.
The Project Scheduler will have a proven history of managing multiple schedules and in supporting project and program managers, and other key stakeholders whilst ensuring quality reviews occur on schedules and according to procedure.
The Project Scheduler will provide effective leadership to the project team, and take appropriate action where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
Skills and Knowledge:
Contract terms: 24 months from Commencement.
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
- Experience developing and managing complex schedules in MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, or similar scheduling tools.
- Experience in schedule-based cost estimation and resource levelling.
- Previous knowledge of, or experience with, DEF Major Projects would be highly regarded.
- Develop and maintain projects master schedule in consultation with project/program managers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain project and program interdependencies.
- Transfer skills and knowledge to the client personnel by assisting, coaching and mentoring junior project managers in development of scheduling skills.
- Initiate planning and costing future capability systems within Corporate and Capability Requirements Project Management
