The Role:
The department requires SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) Specialist to provide ongoing Business as Usual and project support as well as maintenance and enhancement of the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Platform (Services).
Proposed Personnel should be motivated, self-starters who are able to work independently as well as collaboratively within the broader team.

The key capabilities of the position include:
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT with flexible working arrangements considered. 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension option pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain is required.

The successful candidate will;
- Implementation of SAP HCM solutions within the SAP application landscape
- Support HCM Team technical activities
- Resolve production incidents – HCM related, including helpdesk tickets
- Analysis of business requirements
- Develop and/or contribute to client Statements of Work
- Advice and clarification of processes to end users and business stakeholders as required
- Guidance on technical feasibility and appropriateness of changes or proposed new solutions
- Establish good relationships within the Department and with both internal and external stakeholders
- Document all systems changes
- Attend meetings when required
- Knowledge transfer

- Assist in translating business needs into functional requirements and design
- Ability to deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality
- Ability to rigorously test system solutions with real business scenarios
- Ability to work in a multiclient shared services environment
- Ability to work in a continually changing environment
- Ability to adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- The ability to knowledge share with other members of the SAP HCM team
- Exceptional organizational & time management skills; Provide status reports on activities and tasks
- Strong communication, stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to customer and project needs
- Experience in providing functional specifications to technical team for any custom developments
