As an Experience Designer, you’ll work in a multi-disciplinary team to build world class government digital services. You’ll start by helping us to re imagine the companies website so it continues to meet the needs of our clients into the future.
You’ll be responsible for understanding and articulating improvements to the Customer Experience across the companies digital services landscape. While you’ll be responsible for your performance and work ethic, we’re looking for team players – our teams succeed and fail together.
Experience required:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience required
• Extensive experience in design of digital services within government
• Demonstrated experience in Human Centered Design
• Demonstrated experience in Customer Experience design
• Demonstrated and practical application of Design Thinking practices within government
• Champion of the Digital Service Standard (DSS) and Service Design and Delivery Process (SDDP)
• Highly knowledgeable in research and design methodology
• Experience in generating design hypothesis, mapping experiences and evaluating success metrics
• Demonstrated experience working on operational/live services
• Experience planning, conducting, analysing and making recommendations on emerging trends to identify and lead improvements to existing services as well as introduce innovative and industry first service experiences
• Expertise in building and testing concepts and prototypes, supported by experts in content, solution design and other relevant disciplines
• Strong presentation/facilitation skills and the ability to articulate and present solutions, ideas and recommendations
• Exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a fast paced environment, handling and coordinating multiple projects
• Experience in working in Agile is highly desirable
• Successful track record working in cross-functional teams
• Motivated, positive & enthusiastic
