About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer to join a high-performing integration team based in Sydney, working in close collaboration with offshore teams in India and Malaysia. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Agile environments and is passionate about building robust, scalable integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform. You’ll be responsible for designing and developing APIs, participating in technical discovery and elaboration sessions, and ensuring operational excellence through effective logging and troubleshooting. The role involves working with a modern tech stack including REST/SOAP, Docker, IBM MQ, ELK, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in software design, development, and support.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft 3.x and 4.x.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, microservices, and API protocols.
- Familiarity with tools such as JFrog Artifactory, OpenShift, GitHub, Confluence, and Jira.
- Experience with security protocols including OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A collaborative and diligent approach to delivering high-quality solutions.
