About the role:
This role is to provide Senior-level Technical Business Analysis capabilities within DevOps Consolidation initiative.
You will be responsible for driving out the detailed technical requirements for a large program of work that is implementing new features onto GitHub, which will streamline operations, enhance developer productivity, and improve security with built-in code scanning and risk management features. Working closely with multiple business and technology stakeholders, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a transformative program that will reshape and simplify our technology footprint.

About the role:

You will be responsible for driving out the detailed technical requirements for a large program of work that is implementing new features onto GitHub, which will streamline operations, enhance developer productivity, and improve security with built-in code scanning and risk management features. Working closely with multiple business and technology stakeholders, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a transformative program that will reshape and simplify our technology footprint.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with the engineers in the project and BAU team (EDSO) to elicit, document and prioritise their feature requirements for the GitHub platform.
- Review and revise documentation considering any new information and/or changes to initial assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk.
- Validate the requirements against the existing environments' attributes (to ensure that features in the legacy applications are still available) and in consultation with the technical owners of the environments.
- Support the testing of features that have been implemented to ensure that they are aligned with their requirements.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues and/or problems identified through the requirements elicitation, including challenging and influencing the Program Director and stakeholders as required to enable the achievement of project deliverables and benefits.
- Understand and adhere to Enterprise methodologies, processes and standards.
- Foster a shared focus on where to expend scarce resources, time and money.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relations with stakeholders.
- Share knowledge and learning with the project teams and broader community as required.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate internal project processes with project team members.
The successful candidate:
- Proven experience working on large scale technology programs eliciting technical requirements within agreed time, cost and quality boundaries and maintaining appropriate requirement traceability matrices
- Proven experience with work planning and collaboration tools, in particular JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with using and testing the development of DevOps tools, including Bitbucket, Jenkins / CloudBees, Bamboo or GitHub Enterprise
- Experience delivering in Agile environments across multiple release trains
- Experience in liaising with multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Solid understanding of complex banking environments and end to end flows of functionality
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Builds effective relationships - communicates effectively and assimilates information quickly
- High quality delivery standards - manages to high quality and timeliness
