About the role
As senior tester you’ll lead quality assurance efforts by designing comprehensive test strategies, mentoring junior testers, and ensuring software meets high standards of reliability and performance. You’ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify risks early, automate testing processes, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices.

You’ll consistently drive improvements in testing processes, mentor junior staff, and help deliver reliable, high-performing products.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. Due to the work environment, our client has requested that all candidates are required to hold a current TSPV Security Clearance. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role

About the role
As senior tester you’ll lead quality assurance efforts by designing comprehensive test strategies, mentoring junior testers, and ensuring software meets high standards of reliability and performance. You’ll collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify risks early, automate testing processes, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead testing efforts by designing and implementing test strategies, plans, and cases across manual and automated environments.
- Mentor and support junior testers, ensuring best practices are followed and quality standards are upheld.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks early, improve test coverage, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining QA processes, integrating new tools, and contributing to automation and CI/CD initiatives.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter), scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- 5+ years in software testing or QA, with proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
