The Software Developer will be responsible for working under direction as a member of a team responsible for developing software, integrating Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment.
The role will need very high-level software development skills and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel.

What is on offer
Due to the nature of the work environment, our client requires candidates to hold an active TSPV Security Clearance, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.

Role Responsibilities
- Takes responsibility for the development of software using a variety of software languages and development environments, to ensure it meets business requirements.
- Deliver scripting using a variety of languages (e.g. javascript) and secondary skills (e.g. SQL).
- Lead the development of software that supports high quality User Experience outcomes.
- Adhere to and improve software engineering processes.
- The ability to identify system interdependencies and liaise with other system stakeholders to resolve conflict and coordinate integrated solutions.
- Experience documenting technical processes and write documentation in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
