Our federal government client is seeking a talented and driven Splunk Monitoring Engineer. The successful candidates will be required to operate across both teams, with the Splunk monitoring engineer role sought to develop and maintain the following technical capabilities.

Location and Contract Term
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT. Initial contract for 12 months and high chance to be extended. This position is located in Canberra with Flexible working arrangements. However, it can be performed remotely. Successful remote applicants must be willing to travel to Canberra for quarterly team planning.
Security Requirements
Our Government Client require applicants must be Australian citizen and must have a Baseline Security clearance and candidate will be required to maintain a clearance at this level.
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

About the role:
- Technical development, user configuration, and continuous improvement of Splunk ITSI.
- Onboarding of new services into Splunk ITSI including service decomposition and associated testing.
- Assist with ITSI documentation and knowledge-based articles.
- Development and maintenance of Splunk ITSI dashboarding solutions.
- Adds, moves, and changes for existing Splunk ITSI services.
- Technical collaboration with key service partners, technical teams, and business.
- When required, represent, and assist with technical changes (start to finish) under the ITIL framework
About you:
- Relevant project experience with Splunk ITSI in the following areas
- Onboarding of new services into Splunk ITSI including service decomposition and associated testing.
- Assist with ITSI documentation and knowledge-based articles.
- Development and maintenance of Splunk ITSI dashboarding solutions.
- Experience working under pressure with close attention to detail, organising priorities and meeting deadlines. Ability to Build and maintain relationships with Service Partners, key business areas, and technical teams.
- Relevant BAU experience with Splunk ITSI in the following areas.
