About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Utilities sector, preferably within the GAS domain. This role involves working with GE’s PowerOn Advantage, requiring hands-on experience in installation and configuration.
The ideal candidate will possess strong development capabilities across PLSQL, PERL, JavaScript, and SOAP integration, along with robust Oracle skills. You’ll be expected to take technical ownership of project-related tasks, mentor junior team members, and provide technical guidance to support their growth.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ Utilities experience (preferably GAS)
- Working knowledge of installing and configuring GE‘s PowerOn Advantage.
- Development skills required (PLSQL, PERL ,JAVA Script, SOAP integration).
- Strong Oracle Skills
- Communication and collaboration skills across business, supplier and partners spread across a broad geography
- Taking technical ownership and responsibility for development of project related tasks, mentoring and providing technical guidance to less experienced colleagues
- Contributing to test cases and partaking in various testing activities (eg: functional, non functional testing)
- Documenting env setup / configuration
- Demonstrated experience within a similar role
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience using GE OMS applications is required
- Advanced Operating System skills (Linux and Windows server)
- Utilities industry experience essential
- Strong Incident and problem management skills
- Resilience - ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets
