As a Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in investigating, analyzing, and documenting various aspects of our business operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing benefits. Your responsibilities will include defining requirements, collaborating on specifications, and adopting appropriate business analysis methodologies. Moreover, you will be tasked with producing abstract representations of business scenarios, developing data models, interpreting data insights, and recommending methodologies to support our analytical needs. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and communication of high-level structures for integrated solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Location and Contract Term: This role can be based in ACT, VIC, NSW, QLD & SA, WA & TAS. 24 month contract with 2 x 12 month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A Baseline security clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct methodical investigation, analysis, and documentation of business processes, goals, and objectives.
- Define requirements for process improvement, system enhancement, and cost reduction while quantifying potential business benefits.
- Collaborate on the creation and iteration of specifications and acceptance criteria for information and communication system deployment.
- Adopt and adapt business analysis approaches based on project context, selecting from predictive or adaptive methodologies.
- Produce abstract representations of business situations, focusing on processes, roles, data, organization, and time.
- Develop models to communicate data requirements, understand data assets, and govern data relationships.
- Interpret concepts and facts using graphical representations to facilitate effective decision-making.
- Present findings and data insights creatively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Explore and recommend methodologies to support organizational data, automation, and analytical needs.
- Design high-level structures to guide the development of integrated solutions, encompassing technology, service, process, and organizational changes.
- Provide comprehensive guidance on solution components' development and modification, ensuring alignment with relevant architectures, policies, and standards.
- Design contemporary and scalable data pipelines adhering to governance, security, and architectural principles.
- Identify concepts and translate them into system designs, selecting appropriate components.
- Develop detailed models, properties, and specifications to guide system construction and verification.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis, process improvement, and system enhancement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in creating abstract representations and graphical interpretations of data and business scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with Agile and other project management methodologies.
- Experience in solution architecture, including technology, process, and organizational components.
- Knowledge of data governance, security principles, and architectural best practices.
- Ability to design scalable and efficient data pipelines while adhering to corporate standards.
- Proficiency in software tools for data modeling, analysis, and visualization.
