What is 360 Recruitment?
Trainees can expect to be trained and get hands on experience on the full life cycle in recruitment; from receiving a role from a client, advertising, searching, social media posts, screening, interviewing, reference checking, shortlisting, application submissions, contract negotiations, candidate management, client management and so much more. Working as a key member of an experienced team that works together to provide the right opportunities for job seekers and specialist talent for clients. These traineeships also provide a career pathway into Account Management and Business Development.
Who would be suited?
There is no handbook as to who will thrive in recruitment as people have excelled from all backgrounds, ages, and previous careers. Those better suited are good communicators, both written and verbal, good computer skills, familiar with social media, are comfortable dealing with people both in person and on the phone, high attention to detail, good prioritisation and time management skills and vibrant personality. We also work in a white-collar industry, so professional appearance and smart casual attire is required when meeting candidates and clients. Previously people from industries such as defence, hospitality, retail, and other service industries have all made successful transitions into recruitment. Having a car and drivers’ licence would be highly regarded.
What can you expect?
Working with an experienced team and being mentored by some of the industry’s leading professionals. A fast-paced industry that is well suited to people who like diversity and cope well with change. Working with Government organisations, leading industry tech organisations and some of the most innovative Small to Medium Enterprises (SME’s) in Australia. Knowing you are making a significant difference to assisting people into employment and securing key talent for clients at the forefront of innovation. A supportive organisation that provides flexible and hybrid working that has strong family values and a diverse supportive workforce.
