How you'll make an impact
- Effectively manage, nurture, and grow dynamic business relationships with our external providers, turning partnerships into powerful collaborations.
- Evaluate vendor performance, needs assessment, spend optimisation and risk management.
- Develop and manage a vendor governance framework, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor, evaluate and manage vendor performance against contractual service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct regular vendor reviews, including operational, financial, and reputational risks.
- Leads the negotiation, execution and ongoing management of contracts with the Legal and Contracts departments ensuring increased value and excellent services from vendors, including controlling costs and mitigating risks
- Investigate and determine the root cause of operational problems and create alternative solutions to resolve them
- Identify and recommend new solutions and work closely with internal business partners (supervisors, operational managers and regional leads) to forecast future needs and to develop cost effective and operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Provides consulting and business guidance to clients, both internal and external, in a diverse set of situations.
- Lead vendor onboarding, offboarding, transition planning and due diligence processes in collaboration with sourcing, legal, and business units.
What you'll bring to the role
- 3+ years successfully nurturing and growing vendor/stakeholder relationships
- A strong aptitude for learning and adaptability
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and in demonstrating ability to fully understand stakeholder concerns and avoid misunderstandings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Manages unexpected behaviour in straightforward situations and adapts to moderately changing scenarios.
- Proactively identifies and resolves challenges independently. Demonstrates growing expertise in implementing effective solutions for recurring and emerging issues.
- Anticipates stakeholder needs and potential problems, working to mitigate issues before they escalate
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
