Our client is looking for an experienced Audit and Security Engineer with a TSPV clearance in Canberra, ACT!
The Audit and Security Engineer will be an organised, dynamic, outcome orientated individual with good communication skills. The Audit and Security Engineer shall support routine operational and system security management and administrative services requiring a combination of technical security and administrative expertise. This role will require working with business stakeholders, project managers, systems architects and other groups as required, to define and support solution delivery.

Location: This role is required to be performed in Canberra, ACT.
Contract Terms: 12 months from the contract commencement date, not exceeding 30 June 25. Part time arrangements may be considered.
SFIA Level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4
Security Requirements: Current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance. Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

Main Responsibilities:
- Work as a key contributing member of a highly diverse and fast paced team, supporting existing infrastructure and users.
- Investigate security breaches in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform non-standard security administration tasks and attend to security administration issues
- Establish use cases, procedures and technical documentation to ensure delivery of security services.
- Develop a schedule of work and report on progress.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in identifying and/or applying security controls.
- Experience with security controls in cloud computing systems.
- Good knowledge of information security principles, practices and technologies.
