About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in an agile delivery team, leading business analysis activities across discovery, design, and delivery phases. You’ll work independently with a high degree of autonomy, providing expert advice on complex ICT business analysis matters. Your responsibilities will include:
The Successful Candidate
To be considered, you must be an Australian citizen with a minimum NV1 security clearance. Candidates with a current Defence Intelligence Agency-recognised Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) are highly preferred. You should also be willing to undergo the agency’s OSA process, which includes a psychological assessment.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT
Contract terms: 24 months from commencement date, plus potential extensions
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.

- Leading stakeholder engagement and facilitating workshops and interviews.
- Documenting use cases, business requirements, process maps, and operating models.
- Developing business cases and analysis plans.
- Translating business needs into technical outcomes.
- Contributing to strategic planning and policy development.
The Successful Candidate

- Relevant qualifications in business analytics or information technology.
- Experience in user experience analysis and developing user stories (desirable).
