About the Role
As a Change Trainer, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training programs that support organisational change initiatives. You’ll create tailored learning materials, facilitate training sessions, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful knowledge transfer and adoption. This role is ideal for someone passionate about instructional design and adult learning, with a strong focus on user engagement and continuous improvement.

Location: The role is based in Canberra ACT
Contract terms: 24 months from commencement date, plus potential extensions
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 3.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered. An OSA (Organisational Suitability Assessment) will be required for this position.

- Designing training materials such as guides, FAQs, and video tutorials
- Delivering instructor-led and virtual training sessions
- Evaluating training effectiveness and implementing improvements
- Supporting end-users through post-training Q&A and follow-ups
- Tracking learner progress and refining future training initiatives
You’ll bring a strong background in instructional design and adult learning, with excellent communication and presentation skills. Your experience should include:
- Instructional Design – knowledge of adult learning theory and training development
- Training Material Development – manuals, e-learning modules, workshop content
- Presentation Skills – ability to engage and educate diverse audiences
- Adaptability – tailoring training to different learner groups and needs
- Technical Proficiency – familiarity with training tools and platforms
