Our Large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Cloud Automation Engineer who will be required to develop and integrate software employing an Agile Software Development Methodology (SDM). The position includes developing software and integration, documenting technical processes and assisting with testing and deployment. The successful candidate will need highly developed software development skills and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel.
Skills and Knowledge:
Contract terms: Contract terms between 12 and 24 months will be considered
SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Must hold either a current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance OR have held a TSPV in the previous 12 month period (which has since been downgraded).

Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.
- Experience in IT cloud system design.
- Experience in Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Kubernetes or Terraform
- Automate the deployment of cloud services.
- In conjunction with developers, build a pipeline that allows for development, testing, QA and production development of code.
- Produce and update unit and integration tests for infrastructure and software that is being developed.
- Contribute to Linux and/or Windows administration and hardening.
- Undertake development in Python, including frameworks such as Django and/or Flask.
