About the Role
Our client, focused on the National Security of Australia, is seeking a Cloud Transformation Manager to implement, manage, and retire the infrastructure that supports digital services, including physical, virtual, networking, and cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for validating and maintaining alignment between project priorities and cloud adoption efforts. This role is crucial for contributing to the protection of the client’s systems and information, ensuring compliance with domestic and international policies and standards, and mitigating risks.
This is a contract opportunity for 12 months, with 2 x 12 month extension options available. Based onsite in Canberra, ACT.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate executive, strategic, or project management competencies and have experience with hyper-scale commercial cloud business models and consumption in an enterprise environment. You will possess demonstrated experience with the One Defence Capability System.
Technical Skills
You will have demonstrated knowledge of major cloud providers and their relevant products, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. You will also have demonstrated knowledge of project management tools compatible within a cloud environment.
