About the role:
We are seeking a Cognos Architect Specialist to lead the design, upgrade, and integration of Cognos platforms. This role involves architectural planning, troubleshooting, and implementing high-availability solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and client partners to ensure seamless integration and operational integrity.

This is a contract role for 834.5 hours over 6 months, commencing asap through to 30th December 2025, based in Canberra. You’ll work on a high-impact upgrade project with opportunities to shape secure and scalable Cognos architecture.

This role involves architectural planning, troubleshooting, and implementing high-availability solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design and planning for Cognos platform upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and upgrade Cognos software across multiple environments.
- Assist with implementing client partner solutions.
- Improve audit logging capabilities and integrate with existing systems.
- Ensure high availability and secure deployment of Cognos platforms.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven expertise in Cognos implementation and administration.
- Experience in architectural design and troubleshooting Cognos environments.
- Australian citizen with Baseline clearance (NV1 preferred).
- Based in Canberra.
- Experience integrating Cognos with other enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with client partner solutions and high-availability configurations.
