The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the departments systems through testing and quality assurance, monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Mandatory Criteria:
Location of work and working arrangements - The role is Canberra based
Security clearance - Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
Candidates will need to be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include, ID and work rights, security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the departments systems through testing and quality assurance, monitoring, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Mandatory Criteria:
- Demonstrated 5+ years' experience working as an Enterprise Data Architect/Analyst within an Azure cloud data ecosystem.
- Formal qualifications in data architecture from either a data science (DAMA), data engineering (Azure Data Engineering Associate), or data solutions engineering (AZ303/304) discipline.
- A strong understanding of government policy and legislation pertaining to the capture, storage, use and disposal of data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with respect to managing stakeholder engagement and delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience working within an Agile (Scrum) SAFe Multi-Disciplinary team with minimum direction. Including working with other team members to plan, define, manage, and refine user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases to ensure business needs are fully captured, developed, tested, and deployed.
- Demonstrated experience working in and with Database Administration teams to establish a mutual understanding of existing SOL Infrastructure and Azure data platform.
- Experience in the Design, Provisioning, configuration and management of Azure cloud-based data platforms including, Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse, Azure SOL (Ml and Elastic), Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks.,
- Experience in the design, provisioning, management and monitoring of Microsoft DataVerse technologies including Graph.
- Design and implement ETL and ELT processes to migrate and consolidate new and existing data sets from on-premises SOL Server databases, flat files, SharePoint, via APl's and Azure data stores.
- Automate deployment of data platform components using PowerShell, DevOps, and Azure Automation. Document detailed design and processes for data platform provisioning, pipelines and data stores.
